Before editing your images, you have to make sure that Photoshop ® is configured properly.
Open Photoshop, click Edit > colors settings

color Settings Menu.
Choose Custom Settings and apply these recommended settings :
Working spaces :
Color Management Policies :
Conversion options :

Notes about the available mode :
The perceptual mode seems to be more employed by photographers. But both perceptual and relative colorimetry modes are used. Indeed, little saturated images seem to look better in relative mode. Which mode do you have to adopt ? The one that gives you image you like best. |

Be sur that Photoshop charges the profile corresponding to your monitor. The one created for example using the Adobe Gamma assistant available here.
To do this check (without selecting it) that the good display ICC profile appears in menu Edition > colors >Drop-down menu : Workspace > RGB > RGB monitor.
